SSO is willing to serve Doing Business policy in accordance with the order of National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) by facilitating the employers and insured persons to get the best services.
In accordance with the government policy on improving the efficiency of government services and to increase the potential for World Bank’s ranking on the ease of doing business in countries throughout the world. Mr.Suradej Waleeittikul, Secretary-General, Social Security Office, Ministry of Labour indicates that the SSO is willing to serve that policy by promoting both driving Thailand 4.0 and Doing Business policy. Therefore, the SSO has campaigned and encouraged the employers to submit the contributions payment information via e-Payment with its high standard and information security. This could facilitate the employers and insured persons to receive the smart services and indicate the transparency and to prevent the corruption in the SSO
(Zero Corruption). The Social Security Act (No..) B.E. …. has been amended with the aim to support and facilitate the employers to do business by extending the contributions payment period through e-Payment.
In order to facilitate employers and insured persons in doing business, the Social Security Act B.E.2533 requires to be amended, in accordance with the order of Head of National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), by extending the duration of contributions payment. At present, the authority of Labour Minister has been endorsed by the Cabinet to take action on this matter by himself. Furthermore, the SSO has drafted a declaration of Ministry of Labour on Contributions Payment through e-Payment. The Social Security Board has considered and recomended on this issue.
In addition, Mr.Suradej Waleeittikul ensures that the SSO’s services would be improved as much as possible on Contribution Payment System including electronic filing through e-Payment
in accordance with government policy to promote the ease of Doing Business that will have an effect on positive ranking on Doing Business from the World Bank in the future.
